South River Technologies Releases WebDrive for Mobile 3.1, for iOS and Android
South River Technologies, Inc. (SRT), an innovator in secure file transfer, has released version 3.1 of its popular WebDrive for Mobile app for iOS and Android, now with full support for OneDrive for Business.
WebDrive for Mobile is a free connectivity and productivity application. WebDrive enables iPad, iPhone and Android users to access files on corporate WebDAV, SFTP and FTP servers, as well as cloud-based services including Amazon S3, Dropbox, Box.net, GoogleDrive, OneDrive and SharePoint.
WebDrive for Mobile ensures that business users securely accessing files on corporate servers or cloud storage services can do so from within a familiar file browser interface.
The latest WebDrive for Mobile 3.1 release now adds support for OneDrive for Business from Microsoft. Part of Office 365 or SharePoint Server 2013, OneDrive for Business is a popular professional cloud file sharing service that enables customers to update, store, and share files.
Examples of the productivity and accessibility benefits of WebDrive for Mobile 3.1 include:
- Send a file to a customer when you are in the airport
- Review files and presentations on the way to a meeting
- Print files at your office on your way back from a meeting
- Access all files, regardless of location, from a simple, consolidated interface
“As corporations are increasingly moving files to cloud services — often multiple services — the need for a single location to access all files becomes a productivity requirement,” said Michael Ryan, CEO of South River Technologies. “WebDrive for Mobile now enables secure viewing and access of all files — whether stored in corporate servers such as SharePoint or SFTP servers, or in the cloud for services including OneDrive for Business.”
WebDrive for Mobile 3.1 is available for immediate free download in the App Store or on Google Play.http://www.webdrive.com/mobile-app/
