Overview

JOB TITLE: Head of Marketing

JOB TYPE: Permanent Contract, Full time

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm

Pay: Up to £50,000

Our offices are located in the centre of Christchurch, next to the high street shops, with Christchurch Quay a 10-minute walk away and only five minutes from the railway station.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute demand generation and nurture programs, across paid social, digital, email and in-person events that deliver qualified net new logo leads to support our commercial goals 
  • Plan and execute a customer communication and nurture program to support account management, up-sell and cross-sell of additional services to support our commercial goals
  • Develop and execute nurture and go-to-market programs with our technology vendor partners to support the development of our channel business
  • Work closely with sales and leadership team on all of these lead generation programs and ensure consistent messaging and execution
  • Develop and maintain consistent, strong thought leadership, brand story and product messaging content across all communications channels, including providing brand guidance on documentation and training collateral to position us as professional, credible and grow awareness of our expertise
  • Identify influential communities, blogs and analysts and develop a communication program to grow awareness and trust in our services and expertise
  • Lead the execution and ongoing development of our website and supporting micro-sites as an engagement platform for all of our key audiences 
  • Understanding the ideal customer, buyer personas, competitors and vendors in this category to provide market intelligence to support business development decisions 
  • Provide regular reporting on budget, performance against goals and pipeline attribution to provide insight into campaign effectiveness and marketing ROI
  • Provide insight into the customer journey through understanding the data from the CRM and marketing automation platform to inform business development and marketing activities
  • Support additional communication and marketing objectives, including hiring and our local community work
  • Support the marketing technology stack, including the website platform, website analytics and social tools and provide expert support on decisions on new tools and platforms 
  • Lead a small in-house team, freelance consultants and external agencies

Skills And Experience:

  • Hands-on working knowledge of marketing automation, CRM systems and website platforms, specifically Hubspot
  • A sales and commercial understanding, with a demonstrable track record of creating contacts and leads through running digital and paid social campaigns and events
  • An understanding of the data available in web analytics, CRM and marketing automation and able to synthesize into marketing reports and insights
  • Ability to write and edit compelling web content, emails and content marketing copy 
  • Experience in managing a small team and agencies, setting goals and priorities 
  • Industry experience in B2B technology, services and channel marketing
  • Minimum 3 years experience leading marketing programs and campaigns
