Coviant Software, one of our Managed File Transfer technology partners, has released Diplomat MFT 9.5. The company describes it as the first MFT solution to automate PGP encryption for in-browser file transfers.
What's New in Diplomat MFT 9.5
According to Coviant Software's press release, version 9.5 has been developed with a focus on reducing the attack surface of browser-based MFT. The company says its developers removed unnecessary functionality that could introduce vulnerability, while keeping the interface familiar to existing users.

The headline capability is automated PGP encryption in the browser. Coviant Software positions this as particularly relevant for healthcare, financial services, and other regulated sectors that need to exchange sensitive files with a large number of smaller trading partners. By standardising on browser-based PGP, organisations can extend consistent encryption practices across their supply chain without requiring trading partners to deploy dedicated software or specialist expertise.
